What the flarp?!

Protozoa shook his flask’s final dregs, catching drips on his outstretched tongue. His ship’s artificial intelligence chirped at him.

“You really shouldn’t drink and fly.”

“Do me a favor, shut up, will ya?” Protozoa slurred. “Waddya know anyway? This is a HyperfalconX Starjumper, barely bigger than a Landspeeder, and we are in the middle of deep space. What the flarp could I crash into?”

“Captain, it’s not that… it’s-“

“Well, spit it out already!”

“You just missed our hyperspace exit.”

Protozoa threw his flask. “I thought you were on autopilot!”

“Sorry, Captain. You declined the option package for full self-flying.”

"I strive to be the type of man that my father would have respected, that my mother can be proud of, that my sisters can look up to, that my friends can tell their sons to grow up to be like, that my future wife’s parents can tell their daughter that they’d be happy to bring me into their family, and for my grandfather, may his soul rest in piece, that he would look down upon me with admiration at the man that he raised from just a little boy."
