Let me take a moment just to expound on the benefits of following the energy waves of the universe. You can feel them I’m sure. That nagging feeling in your stomach when something is wrong, those butterflies you feel when something is right, the stuck feeling you dread as you reassess if you are where you want to be in the future, or that surge of exhilaration when you step foot onto the right path for yourself once and for all.
The Universe, which often times is thought of as a collection of things, should truly be looked at as one entity that is constantly ebbing and flowing in reaction to itself. When one thing happens in your life, this sends waves outward, and subsequently, will return reactionary energy to you in kind.
Now, when you make drastic changes in your life, that wave becomes a tidal wave. It drastically disrupts the stagnated energy that had formed and unleashes it in a way in which the universe has to react immediately and in appropriate relation to the momentous change itself. So, do not be surprised if making a change that your gut has been pulling you toward for a while suddenly manifests itself in a response that was exactly what you wanted.
With that said, Life has never been about gifting you the things that you want. Life will give you what it is you need. If what you want is not necessarily what you need, you will feel out of tune with yourself. Listen to the energy you feel. It is not just your mind playing tricks on you. This, combined with that nagging gut feeling we were talking about before, is what it is that you need to be able to understand to know which path it is that you are meant to follow.
Long story short: Follow what draws you in Life. If you make an immediate connection with someone, or if in the heat of the moment you draw inspiration for your future, take a leap. Trust yourself. Trust your gut. Trust the Universe.
It will react in kind.
